Access to education at all levels under equal conditions without discrimination on any grounds, including disabilities, is guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia. 

In order to ensure conditions for quality and equally accessible education for all students, the University of Rijeka has established the Office for Students with Disabilities within the University Counseling Center.

The office is intended for all students who have permanent, occasional or temporary difficulties in conducting daily academic activities due to an illness, impairment or disorder.
